Paul McCartney encabeça atrações do Festival americano Bonnaroo

Paul McCartney será a principal atração do Festival de Música Bonnaroo 2013, que acontece entre os dias 13 e 16 de junho na cidade de Manchester, no Tennessee.
Os organizadores do festival anunciaram nesta terça-feira (19) que Mumford & Sons e Tom Petty & The Heartbrakers e Bjorc também encabeçam o lineup do evento.Em 2012, a atração principal foi o Radiohead, seguida por Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Segundo site da revista "Billboard", a presença de McCartney é uma rara aparição do artista em festivais americanos. Em 2009, Paul foi a principal atração do Coachella.
Em 2012, o cantor de 70 anos lançou o álbum "Kisses on the Bottom" e cantou com os integrantes do Nirvana no show para ajudar as vítimas do furacão Sandy.
A banda Mumford & Sons, de folk britânico, foi a vencedora do Grammy de melhor álbum deste ano e as vendas de seu single "I Will Wait" avançar 116 por cento. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers voltam integrar o principal time de artistas do festival sete anos depois de liderarem o lineup do evento.
